Mrs. Lisa Johnson Billy is the former Republican Party "whip" (second in command) for the Oklahoma State House of Representatives. The Chickasaw Nation was formed in modern day Oklahoma in 1854. For over 50 years, the Chickasaw lived their lives in their new land, and they were every bit as prosperous as their neighbors. This is an example of what First Nation Americans, have been able to achieve.
